Illustration of Deceptive Recapitulation of a Principal Theme
Deceptive Recapitulation of a Principal Theme
A thematic motive, which initially formed the beginning of
a phrase, returns in the middle of a phrase--trying but not
succeeding, as it were, to appear like its old self. A
deceptive recapitulation of a principal theme is not
equivalent to "false recapitulation."
